August Highlights
Back to School Celebration & Backpack Giveaway
YCD Team Members supported the BMoMagic Back to School events in August! Community members got to enjoy free school supplies, resources, raffles and plenty of fun family activities. What a great way to get the school year started!
San Francisco Workforce Collaborative Job Fair
One thing about YCD, we’re going to be at a job fair! Our NJC, TESS, and CJP team members came thru to provide information and opportunities for city-wide residents. Thank you to our partners and funders at OEWD for making this possible and we’ll see y’all at the next one!
SF SPCA Campus Tour
Candidates for the CoMET program got the chance to tour the SF SPCA campus and participate in a panel interviews with the SPCA team. This experience provided them with needed exposure to the animal care industry as they continue their journey through the program. We can’t wait to see how far they go!
YCD Beautification Day
YCD’s newly established Employee Resource Groups are getting it done! Kindness Krew and A.C.T.S spearheaded cleanups at Ocean Beach, MLK Park, and Youngblood-Coleman Playground. We don’t just work in community, we are the community and it’s important for us to take care of it holistically!
YCD Opportunities
Work with youth for the Upcoming School Year!
Are you looking to make an impact in the lives of San Francisco’s youth? MYEEP is starting up again for the 2024-2025 school year! Apply to become a worksite supervisor.
Applications are due December 6th.
Know a 9th or 10th grader?
Help them get real work experience with MYEEP’s school year internship program. They can earn $18.93 an hour for up to 10 hours a week.
Placements begin in January!
Warriors Employment Opportunity
